Emily is based in Nottinghamshire, is a qualified primary teacher and has spent the past decade working in a local primary school. During this time, she played a key role in developing Christian Distinctiveness and spirituality across the school, shaping its vision and practice over many years. For the past five years, she led the work, embedding it across the school community. She is very excited to be a part of the BeSpace team where she looks forward to creating opportunities for children and young people’s spiritual development and helping to grow the work of BeSpace across the UK. She is married with two primary school-aged children, and enjoys singing, playing the flute and appreciating the beauty of creation whilst walking her miniature schnauzer, Hamish.
